Lucknow: Promoting creativity and theatrical expression among children, DoReMi Club concluded the fourth season of its popular theatre initiative “The Voyage — Bal Rangmanch Season 4” with a grand showcase of performances by young artists.
The 15-day theatre workshop and performance programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from children aged between 4 and 14 years. Organised at La Martiniere College, the workshop focused on acting, dialogue delivery, expression and stage skills, helping children build confidence and creativity through performing arts.
After intensive training and rehearsals, the young performers presented their final productions at Kaifi Azmi Academy, where their performances received enthusiastic appreciation from parents and audiences alike.
The workshop was curated by Manukriti Pahwa and Mayank Pahwa, with support from Kopal Productions. Organisers said the initiative aimed to nurture self-expression, imagination and confidence among children through theatre.
“The Odyssey” Emerged as the Highlight of the Evening
The centrepiece of the closing ceremony was “The Odyssey”, a theatrical adaptation inspired by the famous epic by Homer. Directed by noted theatre director Jaya Virli, with assistant direction by Vishal Kasana, the play beautifully portrayed themes of courage, struggle and homecoming.
The emotional depth and stage confidence displayed by the young performers captivated the audience and earned widespread applause.
Short Plays Also Won Appreciation
Two short plays, “Planet Ulta-Pulta” and “Tomorrow Forest”, also impressed viewers with their engaging themes and performances. Written and directed by Apurv Shah, with assistance from Abhishek Singh, the productions blended entertainment with meaningful social messages.

While “Planet Ulta-Pulta” entertained audiences through its imaginative storytelling and humour, “Tomorrow Forest” highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and social responsibility.
